The COMM:PAKT tip of the week: Have fun!

Pleasure, entertainment, enjoyment, amusement, excitement, gratification, jollification, merrymaking, leisure, relaxation and relief. What do all these words have in common? Right, they are synonyms for fun.

And what can we see? Fun can be quite ambiguous: On the one hand it’s about being excited, but then it’s also about being relaxed. So what’s your definition of fun? What do you do for having fun?

Well, I can tell you what I do. When I’m alone, I’m just turning the music as loud as possible and then I start dancing – and it doesn’t matter if it’s in the kitchen while I’m doing the dishes or if it’s in the living room just celebrating a successful day or in the bedroom while I’m changing my clothes.

What I also enjoy is having a good laugh with my friends, family or colleagues. And when I’m in a bad mood I try to remember these moments where we just laughed and couldn’t stop.

It’s that easy. You have the power to create fun moments and then use them as your personal mood enhancer! So start the year 2021 with a smile because as Charlie Chaplin would say: “A day without a smile is a day wasted.”
