The COMM:PAKT tip of the week:
In this challenging season of trying to change habits and behaviours, here’s a useful tip on how to automatically make better choices with far less effort:
Studies show that when we dine at buffets 3/4 of us pick the 1st food item while 2/3 of us go on to select the 1st three food items we see.
Interestingly, this is regardless of the fact whether the food items are presented unhealthy to healthy or healthy to unhealthy. Think fried eggs, bacon and sausages versus fruit, low sugar muesli and yogurt.
So, what does this mean for us?
How else can we apply this theory?
